Health & Human Services Reopens by Appointment Only
Dear Nicollet County Resident:
Nicollet County Health and Human Services has been providing services using video and phone due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are looking forward to begin providing limited walk-in lobby services beginning on June 29, 2020. Some examples of this service include dropping off paperwork, requesting applications, or using our loan closet service. Because we want to protect our residents while beginning to serve you in person, we will implement the following:
Our doors will remain locked at this time. We will be using a website called No Wait Inside to schedule lobby time. You can use these links to set up a lobby appointment:
St. Peter - https://login.nowaitinside.com/#/booking/OUlXv74KK7JCukJpa989nUZ7
North Mankato - https://login.nowaitinside.com/#/booking/GvyHoIeLXFO4H7YO1b387paE
You will receive a text message confirming your request. You will also receive a reminder text. When you come to our buildings, you will use a link from these text messages to “check-in.” We will let you know when you can enter the building. We will also do our best to watch for people waiting outside of our offices if you do not have a cellular phone available to use this service. If you are already working with a Health and Human Services team member, the best option is to call that person directly or to call one of our front desks at (507)934-8559 or (507)387-4556.
When you enter our buildings, you will find that our lobbies are set up differently to promote social distancing. Our team members will greet you wearing cloth masks and will encourage you to do the same. We will have face coverings available for you if you don’t have one along.
As a reminder, we continue to use phone and video options to complete all of our regular services and offer a drop box outside both of our buildings. We will continue to monitor the balance of safety and in person service so that we can fully open our lobbies in the future.
