Nicollet County is working to ensure pedestrian infrastructure throughout the county is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The County is performing a Self-Evaluation of policies, practices and pedestrian infrastructure within public rights-of-way to identify ADA deficiencies that pose barriers to safe and efficient access for all users. The County is also completing an ADA Transition Plan that provides a plan, schedule, and planning-level costs for upgrading pedestrian infrastructure and the removal of barriers to accessibility within the public rights-of-way.
The County encourages all who are disabled, short or long-term, or who represent others with disabilities to visit the link below or contact the Nicollet County ADA Coordinator, via email Seth Greenwood.
