Passport Fee Increase effective Monday, April 2, 2018
The U.S. Department of State Passport Services notified the Nicollet County Recorder that the Federal Office of Management and Budget has approved an increase in the passport acceptance fee (also known as the execution fee) from $25 to $35 effective Monday, April 2, 2018.

Payment Options

The passport fee must be paid by check or money order payable to the U.S. Department of State. A separate payment must be sent with each application.

The execution fee of $35 per passport application may be paid by check or money order payable to the Nicollet County Recorder.

If more than 1 application is being processed, the execution fees and photo fees can be combined on 1 check. If applying for a passport book and a passport card at the same time, the 2nd execution fee is waived.
