Duties & Responsibilities

The mission and purpose of Public Health is to promote, protect, and preserve the health of county residents by offering:
  • Family health services including WIC and prenatal and postpartum home visiting
  • Health promotion and disease prevention
  • Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP)
  • School nursing
