Accessing Birth Certificates Birth records are accessible in our office for people born anywhere in Minnesota beginning in 1935. Prior to 1935, we have records for persons who were born in Nicollet County.
Requesting Certified Copies To order a certified copy of a birth record you must complete an application and be able to show tangible interest in the certificate you are requesting. Make checks payable to Nicollet County Public Services. Certificates will be issued upon payment of fees.
Regular Order Complete the Birth Certificate Application (PDF) sign it in front of a notary public, and mail with the appropriate fees to: Nicollet County Public Services 501 S. Minnesota Ave St. Peter, MN 56082
