NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Nicollet County Planning and Zoning Advisory Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday April 16, 2018. The hearing will be located in the County Board Room of the Nicollet County Government Center in St. Peter, Minnesota. The applications and accompanying documents are available for review during normal business hours prior to the meeting at the Property Services Office, 501 South Minnesota Avenue, Saint Peter MN 56082.

     The purpose of said hearing is to consider the following request(s):

     To hear the request of Jason Enter, 57108 422nd Street, New Ulm MN 56073, for a conditional use permit to establish a swine feedlot, on property owned by Louann Meyer, 25 Indian Point Drive, New Ulm MN 56073, and located in the NE1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 14-110-30 in Lafayette Township. The proposed facility will consist of 3,000 finishing swine weighing between 55 and 300 pounds, in two total confinement barns, with two concrete underfloor liquid manure storage areas. The total animal unit capacity will be 900 animal units. Ref: 505, 602.3, 715.

     To hear the request of Michael Klein, 41 Maple Street, Cleveland MN 56017, for a conditional use permit to replace a hunting shack, on property owned by Timothy and Susan Compart, 511 4th Street, Nicollet MN 56074, and located in Government Lots 2 and 3 of Section 19-110-28 in Granby Township. Ref: Zoning Ord. 505, 719; Shoreland Ord. 4.22.

     To hear the request of Ben and Val Forst, 62974 Fort Road, New Ulm MN 56073, for a conditional use permit to construct a dwelling in the Shoreland zoning district, on property located in Part of the SW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 16-111-31 in West Newton Township.
