NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Nicollet County Planning and Zoning Advisory Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday March 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The hearing will be located in the County Board Room of the Nicollet County Government Center in St. Peter, Minnesota. The applications and accompanying documents are available for review during normal business hours prior to the meeting at the Property Services Office, 501 South Minnesota Avenue, Saint Peter MN 56082.

The purpose of said hearing is to consider the following request(s):

To hear the request of Peter Anthony, 42505 County Road 15, Saint Peter MN 56082, to amend a conditional use permit to establish a swine feedlot, on property located in Part of the SW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 16-111-28 in New Sweden Township. The permitted facility includes 2,400 swine weighing between 55 and 300 pounds (720 animal units) in one total confinement barn (102’ x 198’) with one underfloor liquid manure storage area (102’ x 198’ x 8’). The proposed facility will include 2,400 swine weighing between 55 and 300 pounds (720 animal units) in one total confinement barn (102’ x 200’) with one underfloor liquid manure storage area (102’ x 200’ x 9’). The total animal unit capacity will be 720 animal units. REF: 602.3, 715.

To hear the request of W.W. Blacktopping, Inc., 700 Industrial Road, Mankato MN 56001, to renew a conditional use permit to mine, crush, and stockpile gravel, with a hot mix plant, on property owned by Mark and Susan Kendall, 39956 U.S. Highway 169, Saint Peter MN 56082, located in the SW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 33-111-26 in Lake Prairie Township.
