NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Nicollet County Board of Adjustment and Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday February 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the County Board Room of the Nicollet County Government Center in St. Peter, Minnesota. The applications and accompanying documents are available for review during normal business hours prior to the meeting at the Property Services Office, 501 South Minnesota Avenue, Saint Peter MN 56082.

The purpose of said hearing is to consider the following request(s):

To hear the request of William and Katera Goebel, 36050 Scandia Woods Drive, Saint Peter MN 56082, for a variance to allow a garage addition closer to the front lot line than the house in a residential district, on property located in Part of Government Lot 3 in Section 29-110-26 in Oshawa Township. REF: 503, 703.1(1)

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Nicollet County Planning and Zoning Advisory Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday February 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. following the conclusion of the Board of Adjustments and Appeals meeting. The hearing will be located in the County Board Room of the Nicollet County Government Center in St. Peter, Minnesota. The applications and accompanying documents are available for review during normal business hours prior to the meeting at the Property Services Office, 501 South Minnesota Avenue, Saint Peter MN 56082.

The purpose of said hearing is to consider the following request(s):

To hear the request of Leslie Wenninger, 57688 412th Street, New Ulm MN 56073, for a conditional use permit to expand an existing cattle feedlot in the Shoreland zoning district, on property located in Part of the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 10-110-30 in Lafayette Township. The existing facility consists of 350 heifers (245 animal units) in three partial confinement barns (32’ x 80’; 32’ x 192’; 32’ x 144’) and one total confinement barn (24’ x 32’) with four open lots with runoff controls (30’ x 140’; 20’ x 30’; 24’ x 238’; 24’ x 176’), one poured reinforced concrete liquid storage area (52’ x 74’ x 3’) and one grass filter strip (700’). The proposed facility will include 400 heifers (280 animal units) in three partial confinement barns (32’ x 80’; 32’ x 192’; 32’ x 192’ and 18’ x 80’) and one total confinement barn (24’ x 32’) with four open lots with runoff controls (30’ x 140’; 20’ x 30’; 24’ x 238’; 24’ x 224’), one poured reinforced concrete liquid storage area (52’ x 74’ x 3’) and one grass filter strip (700’). To hear the request of Jason and Jennifer Kuester, Ground Zero Services, 308 4th Street, Courtland MN 56021, for a conditional use permit for a three-year review of a mineral extraction permit to mine, crush, stockpile, and wash gravel, including a hot mix plant and a concrete batch plant, on property located in SE1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 10-109-29 and the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 15-109-29 in Courtland Township.
